A Chicago-based progressive metal band, Eden in Decay was started by the duo Max Elkiss and Daniel Baker in 2023, quickly adding bassist Jeremiah Rupp to the fold. While working to find other members, the group began writing original songs, focused on lyrical themes such as corporate oppression, abuse, and others.
